If you have been looking for a sign to start your own business, this is it. The greatest con in the 21st century is the fact that companies are “safe“ and that they are the best way to increase your wealth. It’s not until you are in the workforce for a few years that you really start to realize just how corrupt that system is. It’s like an assembly line that just never stops.
If you have debt expect to put in copious amounts of hard work to make someone else rich in order to hopefully one day first be debt-free and then maybe, just maybe be able to retire from it all before you die. This is known as the American dream where you have all of the traditional things that people aspire to have.
The nice house, the fancy car, the beautiful family, and the awesome career that they post about on their LinkedIn profile. All of this is a dog and pony show trying to play the game of “I am better than you because I have a better title.” from what I’ve seen, all of this is fake and is nothing more than a way to trick you into thinking that the harder you work for someone, the more likely you are to have all of these fancy things.
However, the more fancy things you have, the harder you have to work to maintain those things. You essentially create a prison of your own design by forcing yourself into a lifestyle that should never have existed in the first place.
You need to be the one who decides what makes you happy and build your life around that versus doing things for other people and creating a life that seems good on the outside but secretly tears you down on the inside.
Trust me I’ve had the fancy job and the materialistic things that everyone inspires me to have. All that really buys you is five MORE years of hard work and loyalty to a company that is not loyal to you.
You are simply a cog in the wheel that if you ever decide to leave that system, you will simply get replaced in a matter of days by someone else that will continue to bring riches to the higher-ups.

Jobs Vs Businesses
There is a distinct difference between jobs and businesses. A job is something that provides you a sense of security while secretly trapping you into a lifestyle that you have created. The more hours you put in the MAYBE you’ll be able to afford the shiny new object. Once you get that object, there will always be another for you to purchase.
There will always be another item for you to strive for. It’s only when you remove yourself from the need to have things and focus more on appreciating what you already have is when you’ll start to see the way life was intended to live. On the same note, with a business, while you are in essence still working for an income, it is much better to make money for yourself than it ever will be working for someone else.
While yes there might be some additional stress from time to time or long hours that you will need to put in, I promise you life is much better when you’re working 60 to 80 hours for yourself without having to take orders from anyone else than the driver will be working 40 hours being micromanaged from a boss and employer who does not care about you or your well-being.
While I’m sure there are people that disagree with me as they’ve been tricked into thinking that their job is the best place for them. Statistics show that well over 70% of the workforce despise their jobs and I’d rather work on something I love because you can still get fired doing something you hate so you might as well take some risks in life while you’re here.
You’d be surprised that you really don’t need as much money as you convince yourself that you need. While you may have to humble yourself in terms of what you thought you needed, once you make that shift and design your lifestyle to fit your state of happiness, A lot of really cool things happen.
Income equality will only increase with time
Back in the mid-1900s, it was common to buy a property for $20,000-$80,000 with a salary in the $10-20 ranges. Nowadays, the income has stayed the same but the property values have increased 5 to 10 times. Simply put, wages have almost stayed the same in the past 50 years but the prices have skyrocketed.
So I’ll be blunt, if you’re not doing something to create an income outside of your job, housing and standard living wages will far outpace what you’re currently making.
Sure that means you might need to work more on how you will start your own business but at the same time, if you were to start your own business, that is something that you can tangibly you control the outcome of. If you need more income, increase the number of customers you have, and increase the number of income streams that you make. How? that’s not the purpose of this post. The purpose of this post is to get you out of the matrix that you’ve convinced yourself is completely normal in a way of life.
If you want to learn how to create more income streams, I’ve made a full blog article here that you can reference as well as thousands of other articles that you can Google and start doing. It’s not the ideas that you lack, it’s the execution.

If you can’t win the game, change the rules
A lot of the comments that people have nowadays is the game is rigged, that may be true but there are still plenty of ways to get around that system. For example, the tax system is set up to be in favor of those who have an understanding of the tax code and real estate. While I am not a CPA, there are plenty of ways to funnel your expenses through businesses that lower your taxable income at year-end through whole life insurance buying properties setting up corporations, and paying out distributions to shareholders, etc. etc. if you know the system and how the game is played, you can change the rules in march to the beat of your own drum all while staying completely legal.
That’s why you see some of the richest people on the planet are often noted as paying very little in taxes because they know the system and they know how to get around it. One simple example is living abroad in Puerto Rico or other foreign countries. There are a lot of tax advantages to living abroad that you just simply can’t get in the states. not only that but the cost of living is significantly lower in almost any other country so whether or not you’ve seen people living out of the country, I would highly recommend getting a remote job or setting up a digital-based income. Preferably, if you start your own business, you have the ability to you can work from anywhere as a blogger or youtuber.
While this isn’t completely feasible for people, One thing that’s great when you have the idea to start your own business with systems in place, you can often step away for weeks or months at a time while it is in self-maintenance mode or continuing to grow. For example, our vending machine business allows us to take trips away from our city for weeks at a time without seeing much if any drops in income. but the fact remains that living abroad or having vacations abroad in cost-effective cities allows you to stretch your dollar that much further. It’s not uncommon to live in some beautiful countries for less than $3000 a month comparatively in the United States now $4000-$5000 is a pretty average standard of living for most people with families. again this post is to simply get your ideas moving on the lies you’ve been told in relation to jobs and how it’s time to start doing something about it.
Start Your own business nOW not tomorrow
If you’re a bit like me and might often have thought of this all sounds great, I’m going to save this post and start tomorrow. How about, for the first time in a while, you actually do something about it today, right now? Listen we all know that it’s a good idea for us to do these things, but very few of you guys reading this will actually do anything at all. It’s just human nature to want to stay in our comfort zone and be comfortable. And you’ve heard it 1000 times and I’ll say it 1001 times growth begins outside of your comfort zone. It’s just a fact, how do you expect to change your current situation if you’re too scared to do anything about it?
By all means, you don’t have to start a multi-billion corporation today, how about you just find something that you can create some extra income with? How about you find some furniture in your area that you can get for free, and flip it on Facebook? How about if you don’t have any transportation, you go online and order things in your area that can deliver and sell them for a markup on Facebook. That’s what I did while I was in college and made a few thousand dollars from it.
Guys, the money is out there, what’s getting in your way are the excuses and reasons why you’ve told yourself it’s not possible for you. As if for some reason you’re special and you have a certain circumstance that prevents you from making it happen. The Y overcomes anyhow, I know people with no arms or legs who have an extremely successful life because they were able to start their own business and didn’t allow their circumstances to make up their narrative.
They did something about it, all I ask is that you look for something that you can do starting today with your current skill set or one that you can learn relatively quickly and just start taking one step after the next. Every single person on this earth was a beginner at some point, the only way to improve at anything is to just keep going and just keep learning. So please find something and start building towards it.
