The Breath of Clarity
I’ve made a small but impactful change in my daily routine: focusing on proper breathing. By wearing nose strips and taping my mouth at night, I’ve experienced a significant improvement in my energy levels and mental clarity. It’s amazing how such a simple practice, inspired by James Nestor’s book “Breath,” can enhance your overall well-being.
A Shift in Personal Development
I’ve been a voracious reader, devouring up to 80 books a year, but I’ve decided to step back from the personal development information overload. Instead of reading to say I’ve read, I’m choosing books that truly resonate with me, focusing on being a better father, husband, and man. It’s about quality over quantity, and finding joy in learning without the pressure of constant self-improvement.
Financial Updates
On the financial and making money front, we’ve paid off our vending loan, which is a huge relief, especially with its high-interest rate. We’re now turning our attention to our remaining debts, aiming to pay them down at a comfortable pace without sacrificing our quality of life.
Interestingly, we’re also selling off most of our vending locations. The goal isn’t to build an empire but to maintain a steady supplemental income. By keeping only the most profitable machines, we’re simplifying our business and freeing up mental space for more important things.
Looking Ahead: Russia and Beyond
A major highlight coming up is a two-week trip to Russia in October, a chance to reconnect with family and immerse in a culture that values living over working. This trip is more than just a vacation; it’s a glimpse into a potential future where we might move to Russia for a better quality of life and financial savings.
Content Creation and Authenticity
As for my channel, I’m committed to creating content that I’m passionate about. I’m not chasing viral success but aiming to produce videos and blogs that I genuinely enjoy and that provide real value to my audience.
