Gain Clarity, Peace, and a Better Overall Mood With the One Minute Reset
So you’re feeling a little wound up? Me too. Don’t worry, let’s practice this reset together.
How To Do The One Minute Reset
Sit down in an upright but comfortable position, close your eyes, relax ALL the muscles in your body, clear your head and focus on your diaphragm.
Start by taking a 4 second inhale through your nose, hold for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds, then hold for 4 seconds.
That is one round!
A total of 16 seconds! Let’s do it again;
- 4 seconds in
- 4 second hold
- 4 seconds out
- 4 second hold
BOOM, 2 down. At this point, you’ll start to catch your breath more and feel more in control (if not, that’s perfectly okay, we’ll go again)
- 4 in
- 4 hold
- 4 out
- 4 hold
Ba da bing, ba da boom, let’s go for one more! You already know the dril
- 4
- four
- fo
- foshizzle
At this point, you should be feeling much better. If not, repeat the cycle as long as needed. Feel free to repeat for a total of 4 sets.
Okay I may have mislead, this IS a 1 minute reset but you can do it longer as needed. Some times you might need 1 minute, others you might need 12. I’ve found this reset to be extremely impactful. This is a great blend between pure mindfulness meditation and the Wim Hof Breathing Method.
In this reset, use it to slow down, get back in control and crush your objectives.
Let me know if you tried this reset and what you thought of it! Also, please consider leaving some spicy claps and a follow If you enjoyed reading this article 🙂
Until next time,
